Rumor: Microsoft Planning Surprise For 100th XBLA Release

Next week, November 22, officially marks the second birthday of Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and its Xbox Live Arcade service. So what’s going down on the big day, you ask? Microsoft has been shy on details, but according to website XBLArcade, a reputable industry insider has told them that next week will see the release of a true sequel to the “biggest XBLA title to date.”

In terms of raw numbers, Geometry Wars is one of the top selling XBLA titles to date. Could we be looking at a sequel?
