A couple days ago, Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime was quoted at a recent conference as saying that exactly two hundred VC titles would be available at the end of 2007. At the current rate Nintendo is releasing VC titles, we figured this to be impossible. Unless of course, Nintendo was planning on increasing the amount of titles released per-week on the service.

And that’s not happening. According to a Nintendo spokesperson, Reggie’s 200 figure was only a close approximation and the company has no plans to increase VC output. Oops! Oh well, we’ll live.
