Following various internet reports, retailer Target today confirmed that it has pulled all copies of Rockstar’s Manhunt 2 from store shelves due to the discovery of a certain game modification hack which can be used to uncensor violent scenes in the PS2 and PSP versions of the game.
While ‘Manhunt 2′ was given a ‘Mature’ rating by the ESRB, we received additional information that players can potentially view previously filtered content by altering the game code. As a result, we have decided not to carry the game.
