Metal Gear Solid Rising A No-Show At TGS 2011

First unveiled
during Microsoft’s E3 2009 press conference, the Raiden-starring slicing simulator Metal Gear Solid Rising was a no-show at E3 2011, and the information blackout will continue into TGS 2011.

That’s according to Kojima Productions assistant producer Sean Eyestone, who broke the news in the latest KPR podcast. The reasoning behind such a decision is, we’re told, to not waste valuable development time creating a one-off trailer.

It has been a long time since we’ve released any information on Rising, so it is a fair question. But we’ve just made the decision from a production standpoint that right now our time is best spent actually creating the game rather than preparing a trailer or creating a one-off for an event.
