Bethesda has big plans for Skyrim downloadable content and in news that may hit a nerve depending on your platform preference, Xbox 360 is getting that DLC first. As with several other franchises — Call of Duty being a notable one, Microsoft has struck a deal under which the first two packs of Skyrim DLC will land on Xbox 360 in a month-long exclusivity period, 30 days to be exact.
“If you’d like to be the first to break new ground in Skyrim, Xbox LIVE is the only destination that won’t keep you waiting,” touts the press release.
After the exclusivity period has elapsed, the DLC will appear on PC and PS3 at a later date. Content specifics have yet to be announced. Bethesda previously went on record to say that Skyrim’s DLC will take the less, yet “more substantial” approach.
