Escape Plan Announced As New Vita IP

From Fun Bits – a new indie studio formed by producers of the quirky and violent Fat Princess comes Escape Plan, a new IP hitting the PlayStation Vita in 2012. Players are tasked with guiding Lil and Laarg through a bevy of hazard-filled puzzles and traps, a premise that sounds similar to that of PSP puzzler Exit. What separates the two at first glance is the unique control options, in addition to an inky black and white art style that’s nothing short of eye-catching.

The title will take advantage of the PlayStation Vita’s multitouch display, rear touch panel and gestural swipe interfaces.

“Swipe, squeeze, poke and slap these little guys to manipulate and interact with the diverse environments. Escape Plan gives players unique and memorable moments throughout the gameplay, whether it’s the triumphant thrill of victory or the hilarious agony of defeat,” reads a description over on the developer’s official site.

Sounds like one to watch. We’ve embedded a trailer after the break.
