Batman: Arkham City Gets Definitive On PC

The PC version of Batman: Arkham City is shaping up to be the definitive version, if a report from October’s issue of PC Gamer is any indication. Word has it that developer Rocksteady is adding extra polish to the PC release in the form of DirectX11 support and lovely high-res textures. On top of that, 3D and PhysX effects are promised.

“Even ignoring the absence of [these PC exclusives] (such as tessellation, fog, and more loose trash in the streets) — holy crap, do the console textures look poor by comparison,” says a quote from the mag.

While no official footage of the PC version has been released, the PC rendition of Arkham Asylum was solid, sans the inclusion of GFWL. Kudos to Rocksteady for taking their PC support a step further.

Thanks, ArkhamCity.co.uk
