With the release of Deus Ex: Human Revolution only weeks away, if you’re keen on playing the original to brush up on your Deus Ex lore but find it too dated in the visual department, good news awaits.

Enter Deus Ex: New Vision, a fan-created mod that aims to give the 2000’s PC release a facelift. Four years in the making, around 75 percent of the entire sci-fi epic has been retextured. That translates to a crisper, cleaner image at the high-resolutions of today. The art remains faithful to the original as well.

Did we mention it’s already available to download? While the mod is still an ongoing effort, the first full release is available now over at ModDB.
