Let the speculation commence: Microsoft registered two rather peculiar domains yesterday, Sony-Microsoft.com and Microsoft-Sony.com. What are these two tech giants up to? There must be a reason behind this.

Microsoft’s Windows business does cross over to Sony’s Vaio range of notebooks and PCs, so there is a chance of a possible partnership along those lines — albeit a limited one at that. While we wouldn’t expect anything drastic to materialize out of this, it will be interesting to see what develops, if anything.
