Mass Effect 3 Demo Announcement In A Few Months, Says BioWare

by Mike Bendel on July 11, 2011 @ 2:53 pm

Might we get an early glimpse at Mass Effect 3 ahead of its March 6 release date? If a tweet from series executive producer Casey Hudson is anything to go by, it’s possible.

Hudson told fans on Twitter to “Stay tuned for news on demo plans in a few months.” Mass Effect 2 received a demo after the game’s release on PC and Xbox 360, so this would be a first. Who knows, with a rumored multiplayer component in the pipeline, it might make more sense this time around.

Exact same thing I was thinking when I read the title.[COLOR="Silver"]

March is SOOOOO EFFFING FAR.

Robby says:

I just need to get over this summer hump. Once games such as Gears, MW3, and Battlefield 3 come out, I'll be good for a couple of months.

Abe Froeman says:

This series doesn't need a demo. If you're getting started with it with ME3, you're doing it wrong.

This man speaks the truth.

Pleased about that, since i have not yet played 1 or 2 (in fact i thought #2 was a bit rubbish, although that was only the demo)

El Diablo says:

Far from rubbish.

x3sphere says:

While the ME series has been great, I feel BioWare needs to up its game. The Witcher 2 has spoiled me, it's in a different league in terms of depth and storytelling.

I won't mind if ME3 is more of the same, but BioWare used to be at the forefront of RPG development and it seems to me they've gotten a bit lazy. Case in point... Dragon Age II.
