Daedalus R13 Release Imminent

by Mike Bendel on October 25, 2007 @ 4:26 pm

It’s been awhile since we’ve heard from StrmnNrmn, the creator of N64 emulator Daedalus for PSP, but he’s returned with excellent news: Daedalus R13 is almost done.

In his latest blog post, StrmnNrmn notes that save states are working well with the current implementation providing up to 10 slots which are shared across all roms. Users can simply save to any slot at any given time from an option on the Pause menu, or choose to reload a previous savestate.

Aside from that, there’s a couple more things left to do, like adding sanity checks to the save state function as well as implementing meta data to the save states, so that the emulator can keep track of values like how long you’ve been playing a game, the game title, and so on.

But he says progress is going well and if all goes according to plan we should see a release soon.

R13 close, honestly! [StrmnNrmn]

I Just hope for more Games to be compatible. So i can plau Zelda:OoT and Zelda:Mejora Mask on the go. R12 still had alot of graphical problems for those games. Plus the onl way to run the game proper was to Turn off the sound, which sucks.

But i would still update to R13 when it becomes available.
