Not to be outdone by Crysis 2, we’ve received reports that a leaked developer build of Gears of War 3 is making the rounds on torrent sites. The build date is fairly recent – March 11 according to the XEX file. Videos of the leak have already begun popping up on YouTube. Hit the break for more.

The leak is said to contain the entirety of the single-player campaign, along with multiplayer bits. While there are a few bugs, we’re told it’s playable for the most part.

Obviously a leak of this magnitude is incredibly damaging for Epic. However, as the leak targets dev units and not retail, only Jtagged units can run it right now. That puts it out of reach from most modded 360 owners.
