Insomniac Games head Ted Price announced Overstrike at EA’s E3 presser, the studio’s first multiplatform effort. Set in the future, the title follows a team of four elite agents specializing in high-tech weapon warfare, each with distinct abilities. Players can take on the role of a thief, an ex-mercenary, a young scientist, and detective.

“Overstrike blends developer Insomniac Games’ flair for exotic weaponry and immersive storytelling with a touch of humor in this 4 person co-op action game,” reads the announcement.
