Blizzard Job Listing Seeks PS3 Specialist for Diablo 3

Blizzard’s posted a job listing that calls for a senior software engineer that specializes in PlayStation 3 development for Diablo 3. Last February, another job listing in a senior producer role brought up the prospect of a console Diablo.

According to the listing, qualified applicants must have “in-depth knowledge of the PS3 architecture and APIs” and “a minimum of 1 AAA shipped title for the PS3.”

Is Blizzard ramping up development on a console version of Diablo 3? While the company remains mum on the matter, it would certainly seem that way. There’s of course a chance we may hear something at E3, though Blizzard usually delegates major announcements to its BlizzCon event.

Nice :) Would hope they work with the PSMove as an option for the game play... it would make a ton of sense.

Possible, but we'll see. What games even support them on the PS3? Unreal Tournament 3 is the only one I know of off the top of my head.
