Now with PSN back up and the PlayStation Store running full steam, Activision sent word today that the Call of Duty: Black Ops Escalation map pack will finally hit PS3 on June 10. It’s about time.

To coincide with the launch, developer Treyarch plans to kick off another Double XP weekend on the same day. 

As a recap, Escalation ushers in four new multiplayer maps and an unprecedented Zombie experience, featuring famed director George A. Romero, Robert Englund, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Michael Rooker and Danny Trejo, as well as an original music track from Avenged Sevenfold titled ‘Not Ready to Die’.
