Upcoming PS3 Firmware To Improve Music Playback

by Mike Bendel on October 22, 2007 @ 6:08 pm

Speaking to the Seattle Times Newspaper, SCEA senior marketing VP Peter Dille revealed that a new firmware update for the PlayStation 3 is due out within a month and will feature improved music playback capabilities.

Unfortunately, he did not elaborate on “how” music playback would be improved, but some guesses are that the new firmware will include a search functionality or enhanced sorting methods.
