Army of Two Gets Pushed To 2008

EA believes that Army of Two, its original co-op IP for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, needs a little more polish, and has pushed back the title’s launch date from November to early 2008. EA Games boss Frank Gibeau explains the delay:
Game quality is our top priority. Army of Two has potential to become a lasting EA franchise — so getting the first title right is essential. The team at EA Montreal thinks that more time for polish will make the game truly great. We’re going to trust the team and give Army of Two a few more months in the studio. Army of Two will ship in first quarter of calendar 08.
Indeed, getting the first title right is essential. Not a huge delay by any means, but if the game truly needs more work, then I have no qualms over the delay.
