Gearbox Releases Duke Nukem Forever System Requirements

Can your PC handle Duke’s latest? As the June 14 release date in North America approaches, developer Gearbox has released the official minimum and recommended specifications for Duke Nukem Forever.

OS: Windows XP/Vista/7
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.0 Ghz / AMD Athlon 64 X2 @ 2.0 Ghz
Memory: 1 Gb
Hard Drive: 10 Gb free
Video Memory: 256 MB
Video Card: nVidia GeForce 7600 / ATI Radeon HD 2600
Sound Card: DirectX Compatible

Recommended Specifications

OS: Windows XP/Vista/7
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.4 Ghz / AMD Athlon 64 X2 @ 2.6 Ghz
Memory: 2 Gb
Hard Drive: 10 Gb free
Video Memory: 512 MB
Video Card: nVidia GeForce 8800 GTS / ATI Radeon HD 3850
Sound Card: DirectX Compatible

As expected, Duke will have no trouble running on a wide range of configurations. Should be a pushover for any gaming PC from the last 5 years or so.

Now I'm just waiting for a date for the early access demo.... I waited in line at PAX East for nearly 2 hours and had to back out at the last second to catch my train. Didn't think it would be a big deal seeing how the game was supposed to be out by now. Where's my demo! I'm thirsty for some ass whopin!
