Sony’s announced that its previously delayed, carnage-fueled racer MotorStorm Apocalypse will hit North American shelves on May 3.  The title was originally scheduled for an April release.

In a PlayStation Blog post, the company also doled out details on day one DLC, which will come in the form of a Premier Pack that includes a fiery hot car and motorcycle. The DLC is unlocked through a voucher that’s included in all new copies. Additionally, those who pre-order at participating retailers will receive one of the exclusive Carbon Edition vehicles. Each comes with a decal pack, dynamic theme, and PSN avatars.
