Treyarch Preps Call of Duty: Black Ops Mod Tools for May

by Mike Bendel on April 13, 2011 @ 8:13 pm

Despite promising mod tools way back before the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops, developer Treyarch still has yet to deliver. What gives? While it’s anyone’s guess as to why it took this long, a developer says the studio is aiming for a May release.

“We are shooting for mod tools release in May,” read the tweet, which was retweeted by community manager Josh Olin.

It’s about time, we say, but in all honesty — is anyone still interested?
