Not only will November 11 herald the release of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, it’ll also signal the end of Minecraft’s beta run. In a blog post, creator Markus “Notch” Persson today revealed that the ‘final’ version will drop on that date, barring any unforeseen complications.

As you’d expect, since Mojang incrementally updates Minecraft, the final version will not contain any major changes from its previous incarnation. Apart from removal of the beta label, of course. Notch also assures fans that the constant stream of updates will not stop after this milestone is reached, noting that “more features” are in the pipeline.
