LucasArts is assembling a team for an “unannounced project,” announcing today that it has hired former Tomb Raider creative and franchise director Tim Longo. According to a Gamasutra report, Longo will serve as creative director on the upcoming project.

Longo’s roots at LucasArts date back prior to his involvement with Crystal Dynamics, having previously contributed to the development of Star Wars: Starfighter and Jedi Starfighter during the early 2000′s. He left the company in 2005 to later secure a role as senior designer at CD, eventually working his way up the ladder.

Crystal Dynamics is currently tasked with developing a new Tomb Raider title that’s set to reboot the series.
