Konami Butchers Dracula X Chronicles Magazine Ad

by Mike Bendel on October 10, 2007 @ 10:19 pm

In the latest issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly, an ad is depicted celebrating the 20th anniversary of legendary Castlevania franchise with the release of Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles for PSP.

Nothing strange about that right? Wrong. The ad reads “At long last the Beaumont family’s quest to destroy Dracula…” Yes, they spelled Belmont wrong. And it’s not even a typo, the spelling is totally off!

Konami did however have a PR shakeup a few months ago, so that could explain it, but nevertheless this is pretty funny.
