Square Enix Cancels Crazy Shooter Gun Loco

Square Enix sent along a brief note today announcing that it has cancelled its comically over-the-top shooter Gun Loco, previously slated to hit Xbox 360.
Set on a distant planet inhabited only by psychopathic, trigger-happy criminals, the title featured hulking men donning gigantic rabbit head masks armed with devastating weaponry. Also promised was a frantic 12-person online multiplayer mode. The premise sounds bizarre, even on a Japanese quirky level, but who knows? It could’ve worked, too bad we’ll never know now.
No reason for the cancellation was given.
