Square Enix Donates 100 Million Yen To Japan Relief Efforts

Following a devastating string of natural disasters that hit Japan over the past week, Square Enix announced today that it is donating 100 million yen in support of ongoing relief efforts.

The company is also collecting donations from employees, which will go to the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami fundraising effort, launched by Japan’s Red Cross Society.

The charitable efforts don’t end there. Square Enix plans to host a donation program on its network of online services using its Crysta currency, a billing system it launched last year.
