Homefront Hits 375,000 Sold Day One

Mixed reactions from critics aside, THQ’s war shooter Homefront is off to a sound start in the US. Calling the sales “robust,” THQ reports that first day figures for the title totaled 375,000 units. Far from Modern Warfare levels of domination, but for a new IP, it’s not bad at all.

“We are delighted with first day sales for Homefront and are already fulfilling re-orders for the game from multiple retailers,” said Brian Farrell, THQ President and CEO.

The title is scheduled to ship in Europe and Asia territories throughout this week.

I've been playing it for a little less then a week since it got leaked, and I must say, I was kinda disappointed in this game. I think maybe because I was expecting so much more and something to rival my taste for CoD, but playing this game made me go back to Black Ops.
