Silicon Knights, the studio responsible for Eternal Darkness and more infamously known for Too Human is opening new digs in Hamilton, Ontario this year.
CEO Denis Dyack says expansion plans are already underway, with the location opening in “about six months.” While the studio hasn’t shipped a title since 2008′s commercial flop Too Human, it is currently tasked with working on X-Men: Destiny for Activision. How they manage to secure funding as other outfits like Bizarre Creations cripple under publisher might is beyond us, but hey.
“We do really fun stuff here,” Dyack told The Star. He added, “It”s always a challenge. We have the latest hardware, so if you’re a programmer, you’re never bored. We’re creating brand new content.”
“We’re focusing in building up areas outside of Toronto, which I think is good for Ontario.”
