New Battlefield 3 Gameplay Video Is Gorgeous

DICE just released a new gameplay video of its upcoming Frostbite 2-powered shooter Battlefield 3, featuring nearly 3 minutes of uninterrupted gameplay. The clip follows Staff Sgt. Blackburn and his team of U.S. Marines into “the bad part of town.” Visually, the game looks incredible, and we’d even go as far to say that it dethrones the mighty Crysis in that department.

Battlefield 3 is due out on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 this fall.

QTE when pulling the soldier back to cover? No thanks.

There's a massive amount of recoil as well but I'm sure that once you play it, you'll get a feel for it and compensate alright.

As for graphicswise, I'd say it's definitely on par with crysis and metro 2033 but that won't mean much if it runs like molasses while doing so. Wonder if they'll do a demo

There's a beta coming, I believe, for those that bought MoH. Hopefully there will be other ways to get in.

Going by DICE's track record performance should be decent.

I'm glad there's a lot of recoil. BC2 didn't have much and it made it pretty easy to camp.

Hopefully if you have pre ordered you will get the beta
