Sony has announced today the development of version 1.5 of PlayStation Home. The update, which should arrive sometime this spring, will enhance Home’s real-time multiplayer component, improve the physics and include more realistic graphics and animations. Developers will now be able to create first-person shooters, racing games and more that utilize Home’s real-time multiplayer and improved tech.

Gone are the simple arcade games of the past and in the full 3D immersive experience we usually expect to see from a PSN title. For an example of the new tech in action you can check out the trailer for SodiumTwo, a heavily customizable racing game, above the article.

Sounds good to me, Home always felt so sterile and plastic. If the animations are more realistic and the world has more grit it would be a better experience.

All they need is a way to invite people to your house without having to add them to their friends list. Also, party voice chat.
