If a recent ESRB listing is any indication, it looks like Square Enix has plans to re-release Parasite Eve on PSN as part of Sony’s PSOne Classics catalog. With spiritual successor The 3rd Birthday due out this March on PSP, starring returning protagonist Aya Brea, the timing is ripe.

Parasite Eve originally hit the PSOne in 1998. It was praised by critics for its refreshing take on the survival horror genre, mixing action and RPG elements.
