While Bizarre Creations is done and dusted as a result of Activision’s restructuring efforts, it seems its legacy will live on the form of a new studio: Lucid Games. Several Bizarre staff have jumped ship, including Pete Wallace, former Bizarre senior manager now-turned managing director for Lucid.

While still actively seeking new hires, the England-based upstart has already congregated a sizable pool of talent and is in talks with “several publishers regarding potential projects.”

“We plan to build a studio which encourages open communication with its partners, customers and other developers,” Wallace told Eurogamer. He added, “Our approach is to create for fun, quality and simplicity – it’s how our games make you feel that matters to us.”

“We want to get back to the levels of innovation and creativity at Bizarre that made Activision so keen to acquire it.”
