Publisher Konami today confirmed that the first batch of DLC bits for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow have been delayed into March. While development has wrapped up, it’s currently held up in certification, according to producer David Cox on Twitter:

We just finished it, so it’s gonna be a couple of weeks at least in submissions. Sorry for the wait but it’s gonna be worth it!!

Originally announced in December, the ‘Reverie’ pack sees players trek back to the castle grounds as Gabriel to help Laura, the former servant to the vampire Carmilla, in destroying the unruly evil that was previously kept in check by the recently slain Queen. While details are scant, players will also be able to control Laura in an assist capacity.

A second piece of DLC, dubbed Resurrection, is due out later this year and serves as a direct continuation to the game’s epilogue sequence. It’ll feature a showdown with a “very notorious enemy,” presumably one that is familiar to fans of the series.
