2K Confirms Steamworks Integration for Duke Nukem Forever

2K Games and developer Gearbox Software have announced today that the PC release of Duke Nukem Forever is receiving the Steamworks treatment. With Steamworks integration comes the usual perks of running on Valve’s platform, including auto-updating, achievements, and cloud saving.

It also means that all copies purchased, whether digital or retail,  will activate via Steam.

Cool, now begs the question if I buy this on PC to honor my childhood memories of when my computer could barely run Duke3D. Or to get it on the console so I can play it from my sofa.

Just thinking about this game makes me want to drink beer and have illicit sex. Too bad my gf is pissed at me... Valentines part 2: The Time Machine Disaster starts in a few hours. Wish me luck.
