Xbox 360 Arcade Launching In October
by Mike Bendel on October 2, 2007 @ 11:38 pm

Various online retailers, namely Toys ‘R’ Us and Amazon, have updated their listings to include the Xbox 360 Arcade, a new SKU that supposedly will replace the Xbox 360 Core. Amazon is currently listing a October 23 date, while Toys ‘R’ Us dates it for October 25.
The Arcade model was originally rumored to include an HDMI port, wireless controller, 256MB memory card, and five arcade games. Coincidentally, that’s exactly what the product information descriptor reads at Amazon.
Still no official word from Microsoft, but it is likely, actually very likely, that we’ll get a confirmation within the coming weeks.
