With 1.4 million downloads recorded in the first 24 hours of release on Xbox Live alone, Treyarch’s ‘First Strike’ DLC-based map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops is well-positioned to shatter records in the digital space, representing a 25 percent in day-one sales over last year’s MW2 Stimulus Package.

Expect that figure to reach even more impressive heights as Activision releases the pack for PS3 and PC in the coming months. In its latest earnings report, publisher Activision confirmed that First Strike is due out on PS3 March 3, with a PC release to follow “later in the quarter.”
