No more beating around the bush: the Xperia Play, known in tech circles as the PlayStation Phone, is official. Mobile handset maker Sony Ericsson went live with a public unveil of the Android Gingerbread-powered device in a commercial for this year’s Super Bowl. Look for a more formal unveiling to commence on February 13.
