Pac-Man CE Finally Hits PSN Tomorrow

by Mike Bendel on January 31, 2011 @ 10:38 am

Released on Xbox Live Arcade as a timed-exclusive nearly four years ago, Namco Bandai’s Pac-Man Championship Edition will make its much-belated debut on PSN tomorrow. As a PS Minis effort, it is cross-compatible with PSP and PS3.

Boasting crisp HD visuals, the title features all-new mazes designed by Toru Iwatani before he bowed out of the industry in 2007. Minus a few alterations, the gameplay is relatively unchanged and remains faithful to its original incarnation. A few additions include time limits, Pac-Dot multipliers and mazes that dynamically shift paths. The price of admission rings in at $4.99.
