Sega Details Dreamcast Collection, Underwhelms

When Sega revealed that it was readying a Dreamcast Collection last month, we were understandably pumped. Details have since come to light regarding said collection and well… let’s just say it falls short of our expectations.
The compilation will highlight Sonic Adventure, Crazy Taxi, SEGA Bass Fishing and Space Channel 5: Part 2. For a disc-based set, we presume Sega could have squeezed more than four titles on there. Also, all of these are already available digitally. Where’s the more revered classics like Power Stone, Chu Chu Rocket!, and Ikaruga? Suppose they’re saving them for another collection down the road.
It’s still a nice gesture, no doubt. Just a little underwhelming at the same time. The Dreamcast Collection is due out on February 22 for Xbox 360 and PC digital download. A European release will follow on February 25.
