F.E.A.R. 3 Delayed Yet Again, Pushed Into May

Chalk up a third – and hopefully final – delay for Day 1’s horror-themed shooter sequel F.E.A.R. 3. Publisher Warner Bros. announced today that it’s now on for a May release, but declined to pencil in a firm date. Previously, the title was scheduled to hit shelves in March after being pushed back into the 2011 calendar year following its E3 appearance.
While Warner did not give a concrete reasoning behind the two month lapse, the statement it issued today indicates that more development time was needed. “The F.E.A.R. 3 launch date will now be in May 2011, as we look to deliver the best possible game for our consumers,” noted the publisher.
Look for F.E.A.R. 3 to hit PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
