Sony announced today that its ambitious Home service won’t be publicly available until Spring 2008. Originally, Home was planned to debut this Fall, as announced by Sony’s Phil Harrison back in March.

Kaz Hirai did not cite development issues as a reason for the delay, but rather that Sony needs more time to work on the service to ensure a successful, worldwide launch.
