Rumor: Raven Software Working On Next 007 Title

by Mike Bendel on December 6, 2010 @ 3:48 pm

According to a report from fan site M16, the approval of MGM’s bankruptcy plan has prompted Activision to move forward with plans for its next Bond title.

Development duties have reportedly been delegated to Raven Software, which was most recently responsible for Singularity. With its lineage tracing back to 1995′s PC FPS HeXen, Raven seems like a worthy pick.

The title is said to place a heavy focus on stealth-oriented gameplay. At present, there’s no word on if it will tie-in with a previous Bond film or if it will be a original installment, akin to Bizarre Creations’ James Bond 007: Blood Stone.
