BioWare Prepping Mass Effect 3 Reveal Next Month, Says Sony Russia

BioWare is gearing up to unveil its “next blockbuster title” during Spike TV’s annual celebrity-fueled Video Game Awards event next month. It appears that mystery title is none other than Mass Effect 3, going by a tweet on the official Russian PlayStation Twitter account. Here’s a loosely translated snip:
Bioware showed a teaser in which we can see the first shots of Mass Effect 3.
For what it’s worth, the timing seems right. There was a year gap between the release of Mass Effect and the announcement of its sequel. This also lends credence to the belief that Mass Effect 3 will be a multi-platform affair. With ME2 slated to hit PS3 early next year, it only makes sense.
A two-hour global event, the 2010 VGAs premier live on Spike TV December 11 at 5 p.m. PT.
