Steam Helps You Discover Games With New “Recommended” Feature

Just in time for the gift-giving holiday season, Valve has launched a new “Recommended For You” referral service on Steam. It’s designed “to help gamers discover new games and DLC based upon their tastes and recent purchases, as well as games recommended by friends.”

Recommendations will appear both on the “Recommended For You” pages as well as in your Steam Community News Blotter. In addition, individual game pages will now include Recommendation info, providing gamers with even more information on Steam’s vast 1,200-plus title catalog.

Pity it's got messed up recommendations. Apparently because I played Black Ops recently, I should like Dead Rising 2... :S

Joey says:

That's ok, I got recommended Divinity II which is based on... I have no idea what. There couldn't be a game I'm less interested in on Steam.

Greyone says:

Not really messed up, there are zombies in both games.
