Scheduled to hit the Xbox 360 next week is Eternal Sonata, a charming JRPG developed by tri-Crescendo, which are responsible for the awesome GameCube RPG Baten Kaitos Origins.

But did you know Eternal Sonata is also headed to the PlayStation 3? Yeah. Namco Bandai finally made it official today, after months of rumors and speculation. The PS3 version is scheduled to make an appearance at TGS in video form and is set for a release in 2008.

I don't really think Ps3 needs this but I'm starting to see a trend of ps3 games being released a couple of months after xbox360 games with improved graphics and gameplay. It's been different for some games but still hope they can improve it and it might be worth trying out.
