Clip: Multi-touch Photo Browsing With Kinect

That was quick: the emergence of open-source drivers for Microsoft’s Kinect is already spurring interest among hobbyists. One dev – floemuc – has created a nifty multi-touch interface that aims to enhance photo browsing through hand gestures, allowing users to move photos across the screen in varying orientations, similar to Microsoft Surface.

While the application has not yet been released, this gives a glimpse at the possibilities Kinect can offer for general-purpose tasks. It’s exciting stuff!
