Valve Explains PS3 Orange Box Delay
by Mike Bendel on September 7, 2007 @ 7:33 pm

We found out a couple days ago that the PlayStation 3 version of Valve’s Half-Life 2 compilation The Orange Box would be released a couple weeks after the 360 and PC debut.
So what’s the holdup? According to Valve, it’s not the console itself but rather that the PS3 version is being developed by EA UK. Being on the other side of the ocean means that EA’s UK division isn’t quite up to speed on what Valve is doing on the other versions, so they’re behind, apparently.
Wow. Is it just me or does it seem like they were grasping at straws for an excuse here?
