Castlevania Lords of Shadow Sequel Planned

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow marks Konami’s latest stab at a 3D take on its vampiric franchise, garnering favorable reviews from critics and fans alike. With that said, it comes as little surprise that the company has already greenlit a sequel to this fitting reboot. Spanish composer Oscar Araujo reportedly let slip in an interview with Eurogamer Spain that a follow-up is on the cards:

If you liked the first [game], hope that the second is even more spectacular.

The development studio behind Lords of Shadow, Mercury Steam, will reprise their role for this one. There is, of course, no word on when we might see the eventual sequel. A year or two, we reckon.

With the little I did play of it, I didn't like it. I am SO glad I canceled my pre-order..I would have been pissed.

Maybe I didn't get far enough, but it was pretty boring and disappointing. I put it down and went back to playing Order of Ecclesia...again!
