DmC Reboot Drops MT Framework In Favor of Unreal Engine 3

According to Ninja Theory staffer DomVs over at the company’s official forums, the upcoming DmC reboot is in fact powered by Unreal Engine 3.

While this would essentially be non-news due to the fact that more than half of current-gen titles utilize Epic’s middleware, it is notable in the case of Capcom, as previous efforts used an in-house engine known as “MT Framework.” It’s unclear as to why Capcom made the switch. Perhaps familiarity was a key factor in the decision.
