Yet another game has been plagued by the delay virus that seems to be going around various game studios this fall. NBA Elite 11 has been delayed until sometime next year while NBA Jam, previously going to be offered exclusively within the game for the Xbox 360 and PS3, has broken its ties with the title. While we won’t see NBA Elite 11 until next year, EA has told us that they are going to ship out NBA Jam “in time for the holidays”.

NBA Jam was already planned to be coming as a standalone game on the Wii and will be available for purchase on October 5th for $49.99. It is currently unclear how much EA will choose to charge for the title on the other two platforms as it was originally going to be offered as a “freebie” within NBA Elite 11 (give or take a few game modes).
