Dead Rising 2: Case Zero Shatters Week One Download Records On XBLA

Capcom’s XBLA-exclusive prequel to Dead Rising 2 — Dead Rising 2: Case Zero — has “broken all records” on Microsoft’s Xbox Live Arcade service, recording “the best week one unit sales in the history of all content distributed through XBLA.”
While the company did not share exact sales figures, a look at leaderboard data shows that well over 300,000 players have given the zombie slaughterfest a go. Not shabby at all. It’ll be interesting to see if the bulk of these record breaking sales push those previously undecided on picking up Dead Rising 2 into buying.
